LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLORIDA - SEPTEMBER 11: Pascal Siakam #43 of the Toronto Raptors dribbles the ball during the first quarter against the Boston Celtics in Game Seven of the Eastern Conference Second Round during the 2020 NBA Playoffs at AdventHealth Arena at the ESPN Wide World Of Sports Complex on September 11, 2020 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. We all now we are KINDA getting a basketball team and that said team is already in town and they start practicing yesterday, December 1st.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the only Canada NBA team will call Tampa home for the 2020-21 season. From now until December 11th the team will be practicing at St. Leo University in the Marion Bowman Activities Center, then the Raptor will have their home games at Amalie Arena in Downtown Tampa. The NBA season is scheduled to begin December 22.

The Raptors must be beyond excited to escape the cold to play in Florida. Doesn’t seem so bad. Hopefully fans will be allowed at the games because I would pay to see NBA basketball at Amalie Arena.
