From Panama City beach to Clearwater beach, Michael Myers has been busy lately. Yeah, it’s kind of creepy seeing this fictional killer stalking the sands but there is also a bit of a cool factor. Fox 35 in Orlando decided to get an answer to the mystery of the masked maniac.
It appears that that man behind the mask is Tampa Bay resident Brian Rooker. He is also a scare actor at Busch Gardens. Hmm, getting some practice in before Howl-O-Scream opens? Rooker also has a “henchman,” Max Selig, who records Rooker walking around the beaches. “It’s the shock factor if you don’t necessarily notice him at first,” said Selig. The pair have been doing this for months. Rooker has even showed up at clubs in Orlando. “It makes people smile. Simple as that,” said Rooker.
