For almost 30 years they have greeted and guided you. Time for an update. This Florida theme park is changing what you see when you arrive.

Walt Disney World is saying goodbye to their purple road signs that date back to the early 1990's. The signs were designed to be "unique in spirit, clean, easy to follow and capable of being expanded as the area continues to grow."

These iconic purple signs were installed across the most magical place on earth in various forms. But times change and Disney has created new signs to help guide guests.

Disney has begun replacing the signs with blue and yellow ones. The new color scheme ties in with the recently revamped Walt Disney World entrance signage. The sign switchover started last week on Osceola Parkway and will be continuing this year and beyond.
