A Florida Man tried to trade-in a car he stole from the same dealership days earlier. When Timothy Wolfe showed up at the Lake City Chrysler Dodge Jeep to get a new ride, the dealership employees checked the VIN on the car he was looking to swap.
The employees discovered that Timothy’s car was stolen 3 days prior from the same dealership! The crime was even on the dealership’s security camera’s. Lake City police were contacted and quickly arrived on scene.
Wolfe admitted to stealing the car and was arrested for grand theft auto, dealing in stolen property, criminal mischief, and petit theft.
