Central Florida Theme Parks Removing Temperature Screenings
Many central Florida theme parks are changing things up as things start to get better all over the nation.
Following the advice of the CDC and local health officials, Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando are making changes to their COVID-19 safety guidelines. Starting this Thursday (5/6) Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Universal Orlando will no longer take temperature checks upon entry. They will also be altering physical distancing in certain areas around the park, they will be shortening the distancing from six to three feet. At Walt Disney World, they will also be removing temperature screenings at the resort for cast members beginning May 8 and guests beginning May 16. Disney has decided to still keep the six feet for the time being.
