ETA UPDATE: Manatee County Schools WILL Reopen Friday
Tropical Storm Eta has closed schools across the Tampa Bay area but it looks like Manatee County is going to be open tomorrow after all.
Now that the storm has made its way through the West Coast of Florida, Manatee County has announced they will reopen Friday, November 13th. The county will be open for both on-campus and hybrid instruction as well as eLearning. I don’t know if this is a good idea or not. Seems odd to pull this after already telling all the faculty, staff, students and parents that they would be working virtually.
I hope all the families affected by the storm are safe and recover quickly.
