Clearwater Marine Aquarium is offering a really cool program for kids to learn outside of school.
According to bay News 9, the aquarium will not only be offering socially distanced after school programs, but they also introduced virtual lessons for kids when they finish school for the day. It sounds like a fun way for kids to learn and still stay safe.
Here is an example they gave for a lesson on sea turtles:
“They look at hatch success. They look at home many of the hatchlings have made it to the water, how many have made it out of the eggs. So, when we’re talking to students about this, we can talk about fractions and percentages,”
