Tampa Bay Families Can Access Online Learning And Pick Up Books Across Pinellas County
Schools might be closed but there are amazing programs in place in our community to help kids with their reading skills.
Starting March 23rd ReadStrong Pinellas is teaming up with myON to be give kids the access to THOUSANDS of books on the myON digital reading app. Parents, all you have to do is visit www.read-strong.org and they will guide you on how to keep your kids learning while they are out of school until April 15th.
If you don’t have a computer NO WORRIES! ReadStrong has thought of it all… They will be handing out “books in a bag” while your kids are at home.. They are giving out over 4000+ books and reading materials at food distribution sites across Pinellas County. When we find out the specific locations we will pass along the information… They will pop up at various locations, so keep your eyes peeled.
It is so important for kids to read 20-minutes everyday, so when the kids go back to school they will be ready to learn some more. I know it is hard on all of us with the current state of our nation, we want to share with you anything that could make this time a little bit easier.
