Manatee County Beaches Set To Reopen With Limitations
Beaches in the Tampa Bay Area are slowly opening and the next one to announce is Manatee County.
Manatee County commissioners voted unanimously to reopen beaches, starting Monday, May 4th at 10 a.m. They will be open but with some limitations and time restrictions. For example, the parking lots will have a two-hour time limit and the beaches are set to close each night at 9 p.m. I won’t be one of the first people out on the beach but I do know that I will be super careful when I do. They will still be enforcing social distancing guidelines.
This includes:
- Manatee Beach
- Coquina Beach
- Holmes Beach
- Bradenton Beach
- Anna Maria
The entire beach might not be open, only select areas.
No word on Hillsborough County yet, but we do know Sarasota, Pinellas, and Hernando Counties have opened or will be opening their beaches with restrictions.
