This is a great testament to the power of the people! Taco Bell is bringing back a favorite menu item after a public petition caught the company’s attention.
Mark your calendar because on May 19th, the Mexican Pizza returns to Taco Bell! After being gone from their menu for almost 18 months, this fan favorite is back! Taco Bell removed the Mexican Pizza along with some shredded chicken items back in November of 2020 to help in “creating a faster and more seamless restaurant experience.” That decision didn’t sit well with many Taco Bell fans. One of them, Krish Jagirdar, went as far to start a petition on Change.org to bring the Pizza back. Little did Krish know that after getting 171,735 supporters that Taco Bell would change their ways! “… I found myself on a conference call with the Taco Bell team as they shared news of the return of the Mexican Pizza, showing that listening to their fans is clearly embedded in their DNA.”
So if you’re getting a hankering for some Mexican Pizza, here’s what you can do Tampa Bay. Taco Bell is bringing it back two days early on May 17th for their loyalty members. Plus Taco Bell Rewards Members can claim a free pizza on the Taco Bell app on May 19th.
