Tesla Chooses It’s Newest Tampa Bay Dealership Location
Get ready to plug-in because a new Tesla dealership location has been chosen for Tampa Bay and it’s going to be in Saint Petersburg.
The electric vehicle company will be taking over the former Kane’s Furniture building at 4601 34th Street North. They have submitted plans with Pinellas County which feature a 3,000 square foot showroom fronting 34th Street, a 35,000 – 45,000 square foot service center dedicated to maintenance and repairs, an 8,000 – 10,000 square foot parts department, and a 50,000 square foot vehicle storage facility.
The location is pretty much in the center of Pinellas County as well as part of the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area Plan which promotes redevelopment and spurs revitalization.
Tesla has been approved by the Pinellas County of Adjustment and Appeals and is under contract to purchase the property. No timeline has been given for when the new Tesla Saint Petersburg facility will begin construction and renovation.
