Here’s a heartwarming act of kindness. A Florida Man has given away almost $13,000 to strangers at Waffle House.
This story unfolded when Kevin Cate, son of News Channel 8 anchor Keith Cate, was at a Waffle House in Midway, Florida. He saw a man sitting alone in a booth. The man was attaching cash to some notes. Cate was curious and asked the man what he was doing.
The unnamed Florida Man said that Waffle House was his favorite restaurant and he hands out $1 and $5 bills to random people. He has been doing this since 2014 and estimates he has given away about $13,000.
Cate asked about the note attached to the money. The Florida Man said the note says “Love Every Body” which were the last three words his mother said to him before she passed away.
