1-800-Injured just came out with a study of road safety and health across the United States. They used 2020 data from the Federal Highway Administration and came up with some eye-opening results. So where did Florida roads rank? You just might be surprised. Here are the Top 20 states with the most dangerous roads:

- Montana
- New Mexico
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Wyoming
- Tennessee
- Oklahoma

- Florida
- Missouri

- North Carolina
The rate of incidents used is per 100,000 people. When broken down to fatalities per 100,000 people, Florida ranked 15th. Now if you’re wondering which Sunshine State counties had the most dangerous roads, here are the Top 10:
- Glades
- Hamilton
- Levy
- Jefferson
- Jackson
- Suwanee
- Holmes
- Madison
- Putnam
- Hardee.
