Florida Alligator Tries To Eat GoPro Camera
This reptile must have been pretty hungry! A Florida alligator tried to eat a wild life photographer’s GoPro camera!
Bobby Wummer, the photographer was trying to get a close-up video of an alligator at Big Cypress National Preserve. He put his GoPro camera on a 12-foot pole so he could get the shot and remain at a safe distance. Well he did find a Florida alligator for the video but the gator took it to the next level by trying to eat the camera!
In the video from the GoPro, you can see the gator bite down on the camera and a close-up of the inside of its mouth!
“I was lucky and didn’t play tug of war which would have probably been the end of camera! The alligator then realized that the camera was not food and he released the camera,” Wummer said.
The rugged GoPro camera survived this gator encounter with only minor damage.
Alligators Love The Golf Course
Gators and the golf course go hand in hand like burgers and fries. Just to be safe, especially in Florida, always assume there is a gator or a croc in any body of water.
