Florida Theme Park Ready to Reopen In 2022

It’s been closed since March 2020 but the new year is going to kick off with a splash! This Florida theme park is ready to open in 2022!

Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is reopening on January 2, 2022. Expect the same family fun from this Disney attraction along with new menu items. Park guest can experience favorites like Miss Adventure Falls, Crush ‘N Gusher, and Humunga Kowabunga to name a few. Want to learn how to surf or host a private surfing event? Not a problem. The Typhoon Lagoon surf pool is waiting for you.

After all that water park fun, you’ve built up quite an appetite. Typhoon Lagoon is debuting some new menu items to feed that hunger! They have some Moana-inspired Dole Whip cones. Adults, if you want to “enhance” your Dole Whip, they will mix in tequila, coconut rum or dark rum! YUM!

Not to forget Disney’s 50th anniversary, there will be limited-time menu items. Dive into Walt’s Chili Nachos and the EARidescent Ice Dream Cone before they’re gone!

This is a great way to start 2022 with the reopening of this Florida theme park!
