ATM Now Serving Street Tacos In Tampa Bay
An ATM is now serving up street tacos and nachos in Tampa Bay. This takes repurposing to a whole new and delicious level!
We couldn’t let National Taco Day pass without a story about one of our favorite foods!
So what would you do with an old ATM? Turn it into a tiny taqueria and serve street tacos. That’s what Taco Baby is doing on Main Street in Dunedin! “There was a Chase ATM here. They moved out, so the property owner came to us and [said,] ‘you guys know how to work in a small space,’” Chef Traci Bryant Ferguson explained. The ATM space was refurbished and since it’s a tiny space there is no indoor seating. Just order your tacos and go. This is brilliant!
Taco Baby keeps the menu simple. Chips with salsa and/or queso and three different street taco options. “People are able to come and get the food to go and I think that really helped us,” said Chef Bryant Ferguson. “So we were able to operate full hours.”
Taco Baby is located at 235 Main Street in Dunedin and open Sunday through Thursday, from noon until 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon until 10 p.m.
