You Can Take A Tour Of The Home Of The Tampa Bay Lightning
Are you a Lightning fan? Well, you might have gone to a home game but have you been behind-the-scenes at Amalie Arena, HOME of the Tampa Bay Lightning?
You can see more than just the ice and concessions during this tour. I honestly have not heard about this tour but it sounds pretty cool and inexpensive. On each game day you and your family can take a walking tour of arguably the best arena in the NHL. The tour is $10 for each guest and FREE for kids five-years-old and younger. According to the Amalie Arena website, you get to check out every floor of the building and its unique attributes including the pipe organ, the press box, the zambonis and even take a picture next to the ice. Visitors get a little history and inside information on how the arena operates, plus some fun tidbits about the ice, how it’s built, and how it’s maintained. I’ve always wanted to know how the crew gets ready for a hockey game one day and the next they host a concert.
The tour starts 3.5 hours before game time and usually takes about an hour.
Tickets can be purchased through the Tampa Bay Lightning App by clicking Experience and Seat Upgrades 48 hours before puck drop.
Great Christmas gift… Just trying to help you out…
