Rascal Flatts Tampa Concert Information
If you are headed to the Rascal Flatts “Summer Playlist Tour” at MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater this weekend, here are a few things you should know.
99.5 QYK is kicking off concert season as we welcome Rascal Flatts and Lee Brice & Morgan Evans on the “Summer Playlist Tour” to MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre on Friday, May 24th!
It is going to be a great show to kick-off our Memorial Day Weekend.

According to the Live Nation Venue website, here is what’s allowed and not allowed:
Items ALLOWED to be brought in to venue: *subject to change per event, check the Day of Show tab
- Average size bags/back packs
- Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
- Lawn Chairs – low profile (no chair back higher than 26 in. / no seat base higher than 9 in.)
- Food – in a clear, 1-gallon ziplock bag
- Water – up to 1 gallon in a factory sealed or empty bottle
- Ponchos
- Small tote-sized umbrellas
Items NOT-ALLOWED to be brought in to venue include, but are not limited to:
- Weapons of any kind
- Alcohol
- Illegal drugs/substances
- Glass containers
- Cans
- Hard sided/large coolers
- High profile camping/bag chairs
- Large or oversized bags/back packs, such as luggage, duffel bags, or industrial/camping-sized back packs
- Laser pointers
- Animals (except service animals)
- Fireworks
Bag Policy
- Clear bag policy (something we are familiar with for Buccaneers games)
- Prohibited:
- Backpacks
- Large carry bags
- Ice bags
Bag Inspections
All bags are subject to search upon entry. Guest have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle.
Parking
If you purchased Premier Parking or Valet enter through the Orient Rd Gate.
**All other event traffic please enter through the MLK Entrance.**
Limited PREMIER Parking available for $45 per vehicle.
Limited ULTRA PREMIER Parking available for $55 per vehicle
Oversized vehicles (RVs/Limo’s) must pay $80 to park
Limited Valet parking available for $65.
Drop Offs
Drop off areas are located at the Martin Luther King Blvd Entrance in the yellow lot. Please let the parking staff know that you are dropping someone off and they will direct you. Guests cannot remain in their vehicles during the event- they must drop off and return 45 minutes prior to the end of the show. If you are not back within 45 minutes of the end of the event- you will not be allowed to enter until the majority of cars have exited the parking lot. Local law enforcement will shut down all incoming traffic and only allow traffic out of the venue.
Concessions & Alcohol
MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre offers a wide variety of concession options through the venue. This includes cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, candy, popcorn, fountain soda (Pepsi Products), water, and Red Bull.
Concessions are located throughout the venue
MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue.
Lawn Seating & Lawn Chair Rental
The lawn is always first come, first serve. Guests may notice a row or seat number on their lawn ticket, but that is only used for tracking purposes. There are no assigned seats on the lawn.
Lawn chairs are available for rent for $10.00 per chair and must be turned in at the end of the event. Guests are able to bring their own lawn chairs, but they must be low profile (no chair back higher than 26 in. / no seat base higher than 9 in.). No bag chairs, camping chairs, or folding chairs are permitted.
Banners and Signs
Signs larger than 8.5 X 11 in are not permitted into the venue. This size is a standard sheet of paper. We do not allow in banners or signs that are larger than this due to the potential to block other guests view of the performance. All signs must be appropriate in nature and not be a distraction to the artist.
