Dog Trapped In 30-Foot Hole Lured To Safety With Beef Jerky
Dog Rescue Story!!
A group of bikers spotted a dog who had fallen into a 30-foot sinkhole while hiking at Sinkhole Trail at Pisgah National Forest in Asheville, North Carolina on Sunday. The 7-mile trail is named for the large sinkhole along its ridge.
Well…the good news is the bikers called for help and brought them to the sinkhole where the dog had been stranded for several days, the rescuers bribed the dog up to safety with beef jerky and used a harness to pull the dog completely out of the hole.
The dog didn’t have a collar, tag, or embedded microchip so they took him to animal services and gave him the name, “Sinker.”
If no one claims the dog he’ll be put up for adoption.
Poor little guy. I hope someone gives him a good home.
