Stein Mart Liquidation Sales Expected To Start Soon As All Stores Are Closing Due To Bankruptcy
The pandemic has pushed another retailer to the brink of extinction…and I know a lot of people are going to be bummed about this one.
Stein Mart has filed for bankruptcy.
The company operates 281 stores in 30 states and all stores will continue to operate during the Chapter 11 process. It has 9,000 employees.
The going-out-of-business sale is expected to begin in our stores August 14 or 15 and they anticipate all stores will close by the fourth quarter of 2020, with closing dates varying by store.
If you shop at Stein Mart or know someone who does, now is the time to get in and check out the sales.
There is like 8 of them here in the Bay Area.
