We Can Still Do (Virtual) Happy Hour
Just because you’re stuck at home doesn’t mean you can’t drink with friends.
It’s important to socialize and laugh….so don’t cut out Happy Hour just because you’re practicing social distancing.
Apparently in Japan women are using something called Zoom to have virtual happy hours.
There is even a name for it: on-nomi, which translates to online drinking.
So, Facetime with friends … and your favorite beverage.
Another great idea from Vice
The pandemic has birthed a new Japanese word: オン飲み (on-nomi; online drinking) https://t.co/vkP4KQqVwr pic.twitter.com/DsJ2r2PA0U
