A Guy Made A Super Bowl Ad For The Veterinarians Who Saved His Dog’s Life
The founder of a company called WeatherTech just paid $6 million for a Super Bowl ad that asks people to donate to the University of Wisconsin’s veterinary school after they saved his dog’s life.
Wow… how cool is this?
His name is David MacNeil, and he’s the founder and CEO of WeatherTech, a company that makes protective floor-mats for cars and trucks.
Back in June, his dog, Scout was diagnosed with a tumor on his HEART. And his vet only gave him a 1% chance of surviving…so he took him to The University of Wisconsin’s School of Veterinary Medicine.
The cancer treatments they gave him saved his life and the tumor shrank so much, it basically disappeared.
So now Scout’s starring in a new Super Bowl ad this Sunday…. for the VETS who treated him.
David says the ad cost him about $6 MILLION. And it asks people to donate to the University of Wisconsin’s veterinary program. It’ll air sometime during the second quarter.
You can pitch in at WeatherTech.com/donate.
I think its cool he did this…but I’m sure some of you are asking the same question….why didn’t he just donate the money he paid for the commercial???
It’ll air sometime during the second quarter.
