Weekdays 10AM-3PM

Here we go again….Just a good reminder to keep your eyes on the Tropics again.

Last thing I really want to hear, especially going into a weekend…. But we’ve got something going on our there again.

Our friend over at ABC Action News are keeping their eyes on three tropical disturbances that are moving west in the Atlantic in the coming days.

Disturbance 1 is delivering showers and thunderstorms near eastern Cuba through the southeastern Bahamas into the southwestern Atlantic. With a 40-percent chance of cyclone formation in the next 48 hours, there is a possibility the disturbance could form into a tropical depression sometime this weekend.  This in turn will increase our rain over the weekend.

Disturbance 2 is about 500 miles east of the Lesser Antilles, has a 10-percent chance of cyclone formation over the next five days.   Doesn’t look like this one will not be an issue for us.

Disturbance 3 the one furthest from North America, has a 30-percent chance of cyclone formation over the next five days.   We still have a long way to go….but we need to watch this one.
