Luke Bryan and Wife Open Their Hearts and Home To A Dog That Had Hours Left
Luke Bryan and his wife took in a dog named Kimmie and helped to literally save her life.
Nashville’s Proverbs 12:10 animal rescue organization shared a picture of Kimmie and posted this message:
“She spent days in a small run at animal control. She is completely vetted and ready for her forever home. She is good with other dogs and love(s) people,”
The shelter provided an update yesterday posting of Kimmie — one in her pen at the rescue, and the next cuddling with Luke and Caroline Bryan in their massive kitchen. The Bryan’s are just fostering the dog and looking for a good home.
Caroline Bryan runs an animal preserve called Brett’s Barn, which she founded in 2017 to provide animal therapy for various children. Inspired by the death of the couple’s niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, who died at seven months of age, Brett’s Barn includes a pony, alpacas, two kangaroos and more comfort animals. Kimmie currently resides at Brett’s Barn.
I’m like ready to jump into my car and drive to Nashville to get this dog. How cute is it?
