RAMLE, ISRAEL – JULY 10: A rescued puppy waits to be adopted at the “Let The Animals Live” pet shelter on July 10, 2009 in Ramle, Israel. Animal welfare activists…

The doctors told him he has about a week to live and all he cares about are his dogs to make sure they are ok.

If I lived in Texas, I would probably help this guy out.  This is so sad.    His name is Richard Ewers.

His doctors said he has only about a week to live, but instead of worrying about his final days, he is looking for homes for his remaining rescue dogs.

Ewers found out last year that he was dying from cancer and at the time, he had 27 dogs that had either been dumped by owners or were strays and he's been finding homes for them.  He has 11 dogs left.  They set up a facebook page to help him out.

This is soooo sad!!!

Anyone want to drive to Texas?  I might be going after reading this.  Ugh.
