Car Company Gives Back To Guy Who Burned His Truck Helping People In CA Fires!
This is an amazing story of one guy who was risking his own life and his truck just to help others
A friend of mine was showing me the picture of this guys truck the other day before this story went viral.
Allyn Pierce posted a picture of his truck on social media. It was burnt. Tires, lights, sides of the doors because he was driving through fire helping transporting people to safety. Allyn is a nurse and oversees the Intensive Care Unit at a hospital in Paradise, California. Pierce and his co-workers helped transport patients through the fire to safety.
His post read: Here’s my Toyota USA commercial. This truck literally saved my life today. My little town of Paradise was literally burning down around me and @the_pandra got me to safety where I could help others…twice. Thanks to the fire fighters, law enforcement and my fellow healthcare workers for the work we all did getting the hospital evacuated and our patients to safety. ????????????
After he posted the pic… it started going viral… and Toyota USA saw it too.
Toyota USA responded to the post saying, “Don’t worry about your truck. We’re honored to get you a new one. Pierce has lost his job and his home because of the fire and a GoFundMe has been set up for him.
What an awesome commercial for Toyota… this truck was driving through fires and it still runs…just a little crisp. and Kudos to Toyota for stepping up and doing this.
