New studies show that decorating now for the holidays is good for you


Thanksgiving is 21 days away....

Christmas is 54 days away.   As you are putting your halloween decorations away... bring out the Christmas decos and put them up now, experts are saying that it will make you so much happier!

Christmas reminds us of the best times in our lives and thinking of those happy memories stirs up happy feelings.  Part of the joy that can come from decorating for Christmas comes from nostalgia, which has been shown in studies to stir emotions and increase joy.

When you're putting up decorations, you're thinking of happier times, times with family and friends and family traditions you engaged and that is all good for you!

They even go to say that decorating the outside of your home for Christmas can make you appear more welcoming and sociable... who doesn't want that?

So get out the Holiday decos and start putting them up!
