Sheriff Grady Judd Hurricane Tweet Causes Controversy

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is catching flack for some tweets he put out today, but is there really cause for uproar?
He tweeted a warning to those with an arrest warrant that if they show up at a shelter, the shelter they seek might be surrounded by steel bars.
If you go to a shelter for #Irma, be advised: sworn LEOs will be at every shelter, checking IDs. Sex offenders/predators will not be allowed

I don’t think he’s being out of line. He’s not saying they’ll be refused shelter. He’s saying they just won’t find shelter next to families with kids. They’ll even have more privacy!
