The holidays are fast approaching, and if you are traveling you want to know the busiest travel days around the holidays. A website named Entrepreneur revealed a survey they had that shows when the busiest travel days are. The busiest travel day of them all will be December 23.

First, let’s talk about Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, November 29 this year so the day before Thanksgiving November 28 will be the most popular travel day for that holiday.

For Christmas the most popular travel day before the holiday is December 23. The most common date.For Christmas the most popular travel day before the holiday is December 23. The most common date after Christmas is usually after December 31.

For New Year’s, December 31 is a busy travel day and January 2 will be as well.

The Busiest Travel Days This Holidays Will Be To Florida

Also revealed in the survey is the top destinations people are going this holiday season. Florida is the top destination for Thanksgiving and Christmas while New York is the top for New Year’s.

The study also looks at what people are looking forward to when traveling. The #1 thing is to see Family and then eating food. The things people are least excited about our the cost of travel and dealing with crowds.
