Hey I’m Geno. I am one of those dreaded transplants from the north but Florida is definitely home for good. I’m a hockey and football nut, love to travel (Europe especially), and a big music nerd. If you play SongPop, challenge me. I’m undefeated.  You won’t beat me. Go ahead. Try. 

I’m probably best known on QYK as the food guy. Find me a good place for wings, burgers, Mexican or chicken parmesan and we’ll pretty much be friends.  You can see a lot of my favorites if you look up #GenoAteTampa on social media.

I began working in radio in high school on my hometown Top 40 station “Thunder 107” in Portland, Maine. The first song I ever played on the radio? “Ice Ice Baby.” Since then I’ve worked a bunch of stations around the country including Hot 104.9 in Tallahassee, KHOP @ 95-1 near San Francisco, and most recently before moving to Tampa I worked with WXLO, WBCN, WZLX, Mix 104.1 and 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston. You’ll hear me weekends on 99.5 QYK or weeknights on our sister station Q105.
