Golf Wins & Tour Tales: George Birge Talks Outplaying Country Stars and Touring with Luke Bryan
Which artist George Birge wins most golf bets from. We got a phone call today and got to catch up with George Birge. George is on tour right now with Luke Bryan and will be here on Saturday opening up the stage for him.
George is a good friend of the shows. We’ve hung out with him a couple of times. He first hosted a party in Ybor for our station and then came back to play our QYK Guitar Pull in 2023. Fans at the guitar pull loved him, even though they didn’t know much about him. He was one of the stand out artists last year.
Since then, George has a number one song with Mind On You and his new single, Cowboy Songs is climbing up the charts and doing really well.
It was good to catch up with George, we talked about what it’s been like on the road with Luke Bryan and if he is learning all the dance moves. We laughed about how much fun it is to be on stage with Luke Bryan. George said he’s never met a happier, funnier guy then Luke.
Which Artist George Birge Wins Most Golf Bets From
One of the things that George is also good at is golf. He went to school at the University of Texas and he played golf there. He is a very good player. He could totally go pro, but he decided to pursue his music career instead. Country artists and golf go hand in hand. A lot of artists play together on their downtime. George loves playing with other artists, because they have no idea how good he really is. He mentioned that he has taken a lot of “Prayed For You” money away from Matt Stell because he keeps beating him in a round of golf. George mentioned that he tells Matt to stop betting with him, but it doesn’t sound like Matt has learned his lesson. George Birge wins most golf bets from Matt Stell.
