Mayfield had big shoes to fill after the exit of Tom Brady. The Buccaneer fans are excited and ready for another big season that gets started this week in Tampa. The Bucs report to training camp this week and it will be open to the public on Friday.

1. J.R.’s parents live in Austin, TX and that is where he grew up. They actually live in the same community as Bakers parents. They however, don’t hang out. Baker was born in 1995 and went to Lake Travis High school in Austin, TX.
2. He played football for the University of Oklahoma where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2017. He was the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns.
3. Mayfield is a really good golfer. When he isn’t on the football field, he is on the golf course. Lots of football players enjoy the sport of golf outside of football.
