More Kenny Chesney Tickets Are Being Released For Tampa Show

Good news No Shoes Nation! We just heard that more Kenny Chesney tickets are being released for the Sun Goes Down Tour in Tampa.

Kenny was on a mission to make sure no fan missed this show. The tour went into overdrive to try to open up seats and create more space. When ticket volume got low, Raymond James Stadium got creative. They called the Fire Marshall to see if it would be possible to open up the iconic Buccaneers pirate ship. With Tampa being the traditional kick-off of Kenny’s tours, stadium and tour officials made it happen. Adding seats without seats in an end zone plaza is a first for Kenny.

Kenny is a big believer in “no fan left behind”. And because the Tampa show sold out weeks in advance, he wanted those people who had to wait/miss out get their chance at tickets too. Kenny said in a press release “So now, when we look out during ‘Young’ or ‘American Kids,’ we’re gonna see people dancing around that pirate ship! What could be better? Or maybe even more fun?”

The standing-room-only Kenny Chesney tickets for the Buccaneers pirate ship will be available at 10a on Thursday, April 18 on Ticketmaster. There are only a limited number of “seats” so make sure to set an alarm so you don’t miss it! Don’t just take our word for it, Kenny said himself “for those people who like to hang out, have fun and make memories, something tells me those folks in the North End Zone are gonna have the time of their lives.”

It’s going to be a beautiful day on Saturday. With forecast predicting mostly sunny skies, a high of 89 and a low of 67 degrees. Make sure you remember sunscreen and drink plenty of water during your tailgating activities. Kenny just released his newest album “Born” on March 22. He explained in an interview that there was no master plan for this album and he enjoyed taking time off to make music with his friends. Well, that turned into an album about living life, the big questions, and what we’re all trying to experience.

There’s no doubt we’ll hear some of his biggest hits like No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems, Young, Beer in Mexico, and I Go Back. Throughout his career, Kenny has released 20 studio albums and has had dozens of number-1 hits. This isn’t the first time Kenny has kicked off his tour in Tampa. He appreciates the energy the Sunshine State brings and always looks forward to his Florida shows. The last time Kenny was here was in April 2022.

The party outside of Ray J will be just as fun! Coolers filled with beer, people playing corn hole, all while listening to their favorite Kenny Chesney songs.   • When The Sun Goes Down

    It makes perfect sense that this song will make it on the setlist of the Sun Goes Down Tour, especially with Uncle Kracker opening up. I think it would be really cool if he brings out all of his openers for this one.

    The lead track and title of his newest album. I think it’s safe to say this song will definitely make the setlist. The guitar solo is going to have the whole stadium rocking for sure! I would take a listen to this whole album cause you never know what will make the setlist.

  • Get Along

    From the 2018 album “Here and Now”, this song was on the I Go Back Tour so we can expect to hear it again!

  • American Kids

    Another Kenny classic. Would you want him to spend more time on his older hits or do you want to hear more new stuff? I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few covers too.

  • Take Her Home

    Kenny’s big single and first music video for his Born album. We definitely expect to hear this one on the 20th.
