Here comes the bride? Fans think Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are engaged thanks to a new Instagram post, where she seems to be casually dropping some possible wedding clues.
After dropping her new Vogue cover, Swift shared some photos from the shoot. In one, Swift strikes a ballet pose in a blue dress. “My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue,” she captioned the shot. “All’s well that ends well, to end up with you.”
Fans couldn’t help but notice that Swift’s “something borrowed, something blue” wordplay sounded rather celebratory. It could just be Swift sharing new lyrics from her upcoming album, Lover, out Aug. 23. After all, in another post, she shared lyrics from a new song called “The Man,” which she teased in Vogue.
Swifties started pointing out some other clues in the photo that could confirm the engagement rumors. That includes the string that seemed to be tied around her ring finger — a very literal tying of the knot. And the fact that Swift liked a Tumblr post about her rumored engagement.
For now, it’s just a rumor, but this won’t stop fans from listening to Lover even closer looking for more clues that she could be walking down the aisle one day soon.
