Chris Janson Playing A Free Show In Pinellas Park
This is awesome news for country fans. Chris Janson is playing a free show in Pinellas Park. Country In The Park is one of my favorite events, and one of the reasons is because it is free. The city puts on this show and this year I’m excited that Chris Janson will be on stage.
Country In The Park is happening on Saturday March 16th at England Brothers Park. This event is open to all ages. Bring the kids, bring the dogs and your lawn chairs and get ready for a day of fun. Every year that I have been there, it’s packed, so plan on getting there early to grab a seat close to the stage. It’s kind of a first come first serve basis. This isn’t a show where there is a huge crowd of people at the stage, you sit back and stay in your space to watch the show. Safe for kids, pets and anyone. There is tons of food vendors and yes, they have beer too.
According to their Facebook page, the event will also include a car show, wrestling shows and farm critter races. If you love Kenny Chesney, you’ll want to get out early to check out Pirate Flag, a tribute band. They do a great job of singing all of Kenny’s hits. They are a crowd favorite.
Proceeds from the food and drinks being sold will benefit local charities such as People Helping People of Pinellas Park, The Pinellas Park Boys & Girls Club, The Rotary Club of Pinellas Park, and The Kiwanis Club of Pinellas Park.

About Chris Janson
Chris Janson played our Guitar Pull back in 2017 when it was at the Straz Center. He’s a proud member of the Grand Ole Opry and multi-platinum songwriter and artist. His first single and first number one was “Fix A Drink.” He has followed up with additional number ones including: “Good Vibes,” “Buy Me A Boat,” “Done,” “Drunk Girl.” His current single is All I Need Is You from his album The Outlaw Side Of Me.
One thing is common in his music, he sings about his wife Kelly, the love of his life. He is a man who loves the outdoor lifestyle and has collaborations with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s. Janson is famous for always wearing his Bass Pro Shop ballcap.

Charles Kelley - Sober since 2022

Lady A postponed their tour in 2022 for bandmate Charles Kelley to have a “journey to sobriety.” Since then, Kelley co-wrote and recorded a solo song about his journey called “As Far As I Could.” The lyrics sing in part, “You gave me the courage the night I met my wife / You helped me make her laugh ’til you helped me make her cry / You started out a friend turned into somethin’ else / Now I like who I am with you sittin’ on the shelf.”
Shania Twain: Doesn't Drink While Working

Shania told Entertainment Weekly in 2002 that she doesn’t drink simply because she has never been “interested” in alcohol. She said at the time, “I’ve never had a drinking problem and never drank when I worked.”

Keith, who went to rehab shortly after he married Nicole Kidman in 2006, told the U.K. Times in April 2022, “I’ve nothing against drugs or alcohol. Everyone does what they want to do to have a great time. I just realized I’m allergic to it. Someone said, ‘You have an allergy? What happens when you drink?’ And I said, ‘I break out in cuffs.'”
