Michael Ray Talks About Being A Godfather
Michael Ray called into the show this morning to promote his show coming up on Friday at the Dallas Bull in Tampa. It’s been awhile since we’ve talked with him, so it was good to catch up. Michael Ray talks about being a Godfather.
First, we started off by telling Michael that J.R. is having a baby soon. J.R. asked if Michael could be the Godfather. Of course, Launa want to be Godmother but no one was going to let that happen.
New Song Called “Spirits And Demons”
Next, we brought up the new single called “Spirits and Demons” that he just released with singer Meghan Patrick. He loved the song when he first heard it. Michael said he recorded his part first before even talking to Meghan about it. Michael is a fan of hers so he reached out to her and she recorded her part and it sounded amazing.
We teased him about finally doing a collaboration with another artists, as he is about the only one left who hasn’t. He explained to us that he and Megan have never sang together until they got into the studio that day to record it. Meghan laid down her vocals in just one take.
Michael Ray Is Spending More Time In Tampa
Launa asked Michael about why he spends so much time in Tampa these days. Blowing it off he said its because of his new “Gods…..kid”. Dodging the question even more, he then joked he hangs with Ric Flair at American Social. We know that Michael’s new girlfriend lives in Tampa, but it seems like he was tight lipped about her during the interview. I’m sure she will be at the show on Friday.
The Dallas Bull is a place he has played before and we talked about what an iconic place it is and a fun place to play. He is excited to get on stage for his fans this Friday.
Doors open at 7pm. Megan Patrick is opening for him at the show
This is an 18+ show. More details HERE
Top Five Country Music Bachelors
Country music is full of families and superstars with husbands, wives, and kids who write about and share family events on social media. There are some single guys in country music, but only a few. One country star, Cole Swindell, was just taken off the market. He popped the question to his girlfriend Courtney Little in May on their way to Frisco, Texas, for the ACM Awards, where he won two awards. The couple will be married soon.
He posted to Instagram at the time, “Still couldn’t tell you everything I said down on one knee.. All I know is she said “YES”! We’re so excited!”
Many fans responded to the post, including one who wrote, “@coleswindell So happy for the both of you and your Dad is smiling so big right now looking down on you screaming in heaven ‘That’s my boy.’ God bless you both.”
Seee that post here.
Newcomer Bailey Zimmerman is single. Bailey recently told us that he’s been trying to find the right girl for him, but he has not found her. He said, “I’ve learned to expect the unexpected. There’s gonna be girls that come in, and you think that they might be around for a while, and then they do the craziest stuff, and then it breaks your heart, and then you go, ‘This is ridiculous, we’ve gotta write a song about this, dude.'”
Zimmerman added, “My love life has been very, very up and down. I thought I found something in 2022 a little bit, and then she ended up being the same way as the rest I’ve been in with. So, I’m looking. I feel like I’m good-looking enough to have a wife. But, hey, I’ll just let God plan that out and keep rocking and having fun. Hopefully, one day, though.”
There are few eligible bachelors in country music these days, but we found five of them.
