You can now win the lottery on your lunch break. The Florida Lottery just added a new drawing in the afternoon.
It’s a new midday drawing for the existing Fantasy 5 draw game. Lottery players will be able to compete for a jackpot in the middle of the day. The drawing will happen at 1:05 ET. The drawings will happen every day of the week.
You will be able to purchase your tickets for that days drawing until at 12:35, about 20 minutes before the daily drawing. More on this can be found on WFLA.com

In addition to the new daytime lottery, players have an opportunity to participate in two limited-time, instant-win promotions. Winner will win $25 cash coupons and BOGO instant-win coupons. This runs for a limited time and more than 1 million instant win and BOGO coupons will be awarded.
The Fantasy 5 game allows players to pick five numbers to get a chance to win estimated prizes of $100,000.
