Okay, first some background. Our Promotions Director is in Nashville this weekend (11/20) celebrating her Bachelorette Party. She has gone up and down Broadway visiting all of the country artists’ bars, including Miranda Lambert’s “Casa Rosa”.
On Saturday night she found herself at a new Dolly Parton-themed boutique hotel called “The Graduate” in Midtown. They have a very popular restaurant and a rooftop bar called “White Limozeen” and a very quirky karaoke bar called “Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole”. This is not just any karaoke bar. Singers are backed up by an animatronic backup band. Think of the “Country Bear Jamboree” at Walt Disney World.
At one point in the evening, a familiar face jumped on stage. It was Jason Aldean. He was having a night out with some friends and his wife, Brittany. He sang the Brooks and Dunn song “That Ain’t No Way To Go” with country music artist and podcaster Chuck Wicks. Wicks is married to Jason’s sister, Kasi!
Jason also sang Blake Shelton’s and Ashley Monroe’s “Lonely Tonight” with his wife. The couple that sings karaoke together stays together.
Brittany is no stranger to singing. She auditioned for the “America Idol” judges in Season 11.
According to Jason’s Instagram Story, he also stopped by his own bar, “Jason Aldean’s” for some fun, too. For Jason Aldean, you would think the last thing you would want to do on your night off as a country music superstar is to sing for a crowd. That shows you just how much he must love it!
