Disney World Now Has A Pickle Milkshake At Epcot
How could the Disney pickle be more well-known? Make a drink with it. This makes sense, because I feel like there is an entire sub-culture of pickle enthusiasts. But as a milkshake?
Before the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, Disney showed off the pickle milkshake, their latest crazy food for the public.
The limited-time item can be found at the Odyssey’s Brew-Wing Lab until the festival ends on November 18. The festival starts on July 27 and goes on until then.
The announcement…
In a cute rap to announce the product, the Disney Eats Instagram page said, ” heard you love pickles and also love shakes.”
The pickle-flavored shake has a dab of whipped cream, a piece of dill, and pickling spices on top. The jar has a cute picture of pickle slices and the words “Made with science!”
One person who left a message on the video statement said they would buy it, but they were quick to point out a small mistake in the video. The person wrote, “I’m going to try it, but let’s not forget that NO ONE IN THAT VIDEO ACTUALLY TOOK A SIP.”
But how does it taste?
Shay Spence, a TikToker and star of a cooking competition show, gave us the inside story on the sour drink.
Spence got to try the pickle milkshake at a sneak peek at Disney’s food and wine event.
In the video of his review, Spence can be seen taking a tentative sip of the shake. “I kind of dig it,” he says in a voiceover. He goes on to say that the shake is “not really sour like a pickle; it’s more creamy and sweet with dill and pickling spice flavors coming through.”
Spence says that he’d “rather have a chocolate milkshake” but that “it’s not bad,” either.
On the Disney Parks Blog, you can find the full menu for the food event.
