Gasparilla Parades Postponed Due To COVID-19 Concerns

Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla and EventFest have made the decision to postpone the Gasparilla parades until April of 2021. The decision was made after consulting with healthcare providers.

According to a very in-character Twitter Post from the parade’s official account:

“After many conversations with the friendlies, we’re sad to announce that our pirate krewe has been temporarily steered off course by an unruly storm. However, we will not be deterred in our quest to capture the key to your fair City of Tampa.”

The new date for the Children’s Parade is Saturday, April 10 and the Pirate Festparade will be Saturday, April 17.
