Who Is Bryan Martin
Who is Bryan Martin? Bryan Martin landed a spot on Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time Tour 2024. Who is this guy? How did he get on such a big tour so quickly?
We really don’t know much about Bryan Martin, so I decided to do a little research and learn a little about him before the show. His single “We Ride” is playing on our station and it’s been out since 2023, but who is Bryan Martin.
Bryan with a “y” is from Louisiana, just like Jordan Davis and Tim McGraw. When he was younger he worked on an oil rig while playing football and dabbling in some bull riding. After he broke his collar bone bull riding is when things started going downhill for him. He got addicted to painkillers. That led to more drugs and alcohol and dropping out of school. He decided to get his life together, so he enlisted in the military, but soon after, he was dismissed. That feeling of failure is what led him to attempt suicide at 19 years old. His official website details how he took 30 Percocet and misfired a 357.
Things turned around very quickly for Bryan. The next day in fact, he met his wife and also took a job on an oil rig. Bad luck struck him again when he was in a bad car accident that caused a bad brain injury.
Bryan Martin’s Music Career
All of these events are what led him back to pick up his guitar. He’s kinda like Jelly Roll in a sense where he’s had so many personal things happen in his life, he had plenty to write and sing about. That’s when his music career took off.
Martin released his first album It Was Easy in 2019 and then Self Inflicted Scars in 2021. The song “We Ride” began receiving attention on TikTok. By 2023, “We Ride” had begun charting on the country charts, The song will be on Martin’s third album Poets & Old Souls.
