Online shopping has pretty much taken over the world over the last few years. But, if you still like to try things on and see them in person, you’re in in luck. Whether you’re gearing up for your next concert or need to dress up for an event, the new Tecovas store in Tampa International Mall has everything you need.
The History of Tecovas
Tecovas started out as a one-man show in the back of an SUV in 2015. Paul Hedrick set out to create a pair of boots that honored traditional methods but with a modern twist. From what started as a boot brand in Austin, Texas has become a full-on manufacturer and retailer for all sorts of western wear.
Tecovas said, “We aren’t chasing Western nostalgia and cliches. Instead, everything we do is meant to honor the true spirit of the West - that magical place that’s inside everyone, the voice that tells us that life is short and that we better pull on our boots and go hard after the things that we love and care about.”
They are a direct-to-consumer brand which means you won’t find Tecovas’ goods just sitting on some shelf in a retailer. The only place you can shop Tecovas in the Sunshine State is in the Tecovas store in Tampa and Jacksonville.
