Who Wins? Dog Or Porcupine?
A Saint Bernard, which is not a small dog, had a run-in with a porcupine in New York while out for a stroll. Oh, and this isn’t his first time he has had a fight with a porcupine.
The Saint Bernard’s name is Ruckus and he was surrendered to a local animal rescue so he could receive treatment. Ruckus had porcupine quills covering his face, jowls, nose and inside his mouth.
He was at the Lollipop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester and they fixed Ruckus up and when he was healthy they looked for a Fur-ever home for him. A great news, he found a home!
Ruckus “left the shelter and headed to his new home”, the farm said. “We are so happy for Ruckus, and hope that he never crosses the path of a porcupine again.”
