Where in Florida can you make $17 an hour and enjoy even more benefits?  Universal Orlando just announced that they are raising the minimum wage from $14 to $17 per hour for their employees.  If you want to make good money and get great benefits, sounds like Universal is the place to work.   A Florida job where you can make $17 an hour and more.

President and COO, Karen Irwin, sent out a letter to employees announcing many upgrades to employee benefits. The change is based on a survey they sent out for better employee satisfaction.

She also added that they aspire to be the employer of choice in the Orlando market, providing an inclusive environment where team members are proud to work, have the opportunity to grow and feel a real sense of purpose and belonging.

Other Benefits To Working at Universal Orlando

In addition to the pay increase, Universal Orlando announced they've elevated its 401k match and tuition reimbursement programs.  They have also added compassion leave, doubled parental leave, launched a new employee recognition program and even expanded team member comp ticket availability.

These changes will go into affect on June 4th.
