The Best Date Night Rooftop Bars In Tampa
It’s near impossible to beat the romantic feeling of watching the sunset over the downtown skyline or over the water at sunset. There are plenty of incredible places to eat and drink in Tampa, but if you want to switch up your view once in a while, soak in one of the rooftop bars, especially since we have great outdoor weather!
Visit one of these rooftop bars in Tampa Bay to see the city from a different perspective while enjoying a drink.
Considering the size of our Tampa Bay area, we’ve also added spots in St. Pete/Clearwater to our list of scenic rooftop bars! You will find one nearby, no matter where you are or where you are headed. My fiancé and I are always looking for the next date-night spot. Hopefully, these will help you, also!
In no particular order, here are some spots to check out that I plan on checking out, as well.
M.Bird Rooftop Bar @ Armature Works
Experience the breathtaking views of the Tampa skyline on the rooftop of Armature Works and M.Bird. While enjoying the view, enjoy craft cocktails and small bites. M.Bird’s covered patio keeps the party going rain or shine. Downstairs, you’ll find an abundance of food options from multiple vendors. The live DJ entertainment begins at 9 p.m. on Friday nights.
Luna Lounge @ Bulla Gastrobar
Luna Lounge at Bulla Gastrobar’s SoHo location is another restaurant and rooftop bar pairing. A great place to hang out or go on a date, Bulla offers a great happy hour and a huge tapas menu daily from 3-7 pm. In the building’s fifth floor, you’ll find the rooftop lounge, named Luna Lounge. A huge pitcher of sangria is the perfect accompaniment to taking in beautiful views of downtown Tampa.
Top Golf Tampa – Terrace Bar
Check out Topgolf Tampa’s Rooftop Terrace Bar for a fun night out. The rooftop features a bar with seating, fire pits, and a stage. Select nights of the week feature live music on the roof along with a full menu of delicious grub. Taking a break in one of the temperature-controlled bays after a few hours of golf with friends is the perfect way to wind down.
PS: Topgolf St. Pete opens June 30th!
Skybox Rooftop Bar – Wesley Chapel
In our area, this is one of the newest rooftop bars. This rooftop bar is on top of the new Residence Inn in Wesley Chapel. Offering gorgeous views of the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Complex and Pasco County. The menu has small bites and a great assortment of drinks for you to sip on as you catch the views of the ever-changing colors of the sky at sunset.
Santo’s Drinkeria Rooftop Bar @ Casa Santa Stefano
This is another fun spot opened by the same family that is known for Columbia Restaurant. Casa Santa Stefano brings a fun rooftop vibe to historic Ybor City. Historically, this spot was home to a macaroni factory, Casa Santa Stefano has an awesome and beautiful downstairs restaurant, but head upstairs and you’ll find Santo’s Drinkeria Rooftop Bar for a bit more fun flare, perfect for date night or just with friends. And, who can beat the sunset over Ybor City while sipping cocktails and dining on Sicilian-style nom noms.
Of course, there are hundreds of great rooftop bars and lounges in the Tampa Bay area! But these are a few of the ones I keep hearing about multiple times from friends. Which rooftop spots would YOU add to the list? Cheers!
