Carol Baskin Is Reporting That Her Husband Is Alive
Carol Baskin is reporting that her husband is alive. This is the most bizarre story of the day.
In a 2021 interview that people are just now discovering, Carole Baskin said that her “missing” husband Don Lewis is alive and well in Costa Rica. Supposedly, the Department of Homeland Security told her.
Let’s break this down.
First of all, Carole made this claim back in 2021, and somehow everyone missed it. Check out this video.
She claims that Homeland Security got in touch with her and told her that Don was alive and well in Costa Rica.
How can she even do this with a straight face?
In the interview she says “I didn’t think he was capable of supporting himself. He took about a million dollars down to Costa Rica, I had agreed to let him do that so he could prove to himself that he could make a living.”
Second, I don’t know too many women who would just let their husbands take a million dollars and head to Costa Rica to prove something?
Third, according to TMZ.com, The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, which is in charge of Don’s missing person’s case, has had no communication with federal officials to suggest they’ve located Don Lewis.
Obviously, the FBI would’ve shared that information. So as far as the Sheriff’s Office is concerned, Lewis is still a missing person. And finally, let’s not forget about Don’s family. I’m sure Homeland Security would have notified them if they had found him alive and well. There has been no word from his family.
What Happened To Don Lewis
Lewis disappeared in 1997 at the age of 59 — and would be 84 if he’s still alive today.
The Netflix show, Tiger King, claimed that Baskin was connected to her former husband’s death and that she had fed Lewis’ body to Tigers. Baskin has denied these allegations.
