The Reason It’s Taking Jon Pardi So Long To Build His House

The reason it's taking Jon Pardi so long to build his house was revealed during our conversation we had with him on Tampa Bay's Hometown Morning Krewe. Jon is performing at this years Strawberry Festival on March 7th. He is a fun guy to talk to because you never know what he is going to say and we covered all kinds of topics.

We first talked to him about the Strawberry Festival. He didn't know much about it, so we caught him up on the festival itself and all of the great food that it offers. Pretty much anything you can put a strawberry on, they have it. It sounds like Jon loves strawberries and now is really looking forward to jumping on stage when we told him about all the free strawberries he will get.

The other topic we discussed with Jon Pardi, was all of the projects he has going on in Tennessee. If you follow him on Instagram, he posts a lot of stories of his "land" and the work he is doing. He is actually building a house. It seems like it's been taking forever and we found out why it's taking him so long to build his house. He keeps firing people. He says its hard to find good people these days and he keeps having to fire workers who aren't doing their job they are hired to do.

Jon's life has changed in the last few years, he is married and a father to two. Jon proposed to his girlfriend, Summer Duncan while he was on stage during his concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The couple married on November 21, 2020 and almost two years later their daughter was born.  Then, on July 16, 2024, their second child, a daughter, was born.

Jon is releasing his fifth album, Honkytonk Hollywood on April 11th and he did say that this album is more sexy. He said there is only one song with the word Boots in the title. There will be 17 songs on the new album.
