Florida Farmer’s TikTok Ruined By Emu
A South Florida farmer’s TikTok keeps getting ruined by a emu who lives on the farm. Taylor Blake, a farm worker, puts up videos from the farm on a TikTok page, but Emmanuel keeps interrupting her.
Taylor works at Knuckle Bump Farms in South Florida and she tries to film informational videos about the animals. She then puts the video out on the Farm’s social media, but Emmanuel keeps sticking his face in the videos.
You will hear Taylor shout “Don’t do it Emmanuel, don’t do it!” in the video, but that doesn’t stop the emu. Emmanuel has two sisters, Ellen and Regina, that also like to hog camera time while Taylor is trying to film. Many of the times they peck at the camera and even knock the camera over on more than one occasion.
A deer named Princess will also interrupt the videos and nip at Taylor’s arms for attention.
Check out some of the video with Emmanuel the Emu below.
The Emu is the second-largest living bird by height after the Ostrich. Emus are soft-feathered, brown, flightless birds with long necks and legs, and can reach over 6 feet in height. They can also sprint at 30 mph and can travel great distances.
The Emu is very important to Australia appearing on the coat of arms and various coins. It also features prominently in Indigenous Australian mythology. Emu’s range covers most of Australia and eat a variety of plants and insects, but have been known to go for weeks without eating.
They come from eggs and the eggs can weigh as much as 1.4 pounds. When new chicks are born the usually leave the nest after only a few days of hatching.
You have mostly likely seen LiMu the Emu in the Liberty Mutual commercial where he is teamed up with a human named Doug.
