New Drivers License Coming To Florida
It feels as though we JUST got a new license, now there is going to be a new NEW drivers license getting introduced.
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) issued a statement saying changes include the removal of the magnetic strip on the back of the ID cards, which will add a tactile security feature to the front. The modified cards will provide Floridians with the most secure over-the-counter credential.
The new, modified driver’s license or ID card will be starting as soon as August.
I hope this doesn’t become required… at least until my Drivers License expires… 8 years!
