Zac Brown Reveals His First Crush
Zac Brown reveals his first crush while talking to Tampa Bays Hometown Morning Krewe. The Zac Brown Band is in town this weekend for the Sun Goes Down Tour with Kenny Chesney. We got a chance to catch up with Zac to talk about his new music, the song he wrote for Jimmy Buffett and being on the road with Kenny Chesney.
The anticipation for the kick off of the Sun Goes Down Tour is huge in Tampa. Kenny loves kicking off his tours here due to the weather, the fans and of course he loves the pirate ship. ZBB is lucky to be on this tour with Kenny. WE can’t wait to hear all the hits from Zac Brown including Chicken Fried, Knee Deep and Whatever It Is. Last year on his tour, they focused the show on many cover songs and he revealed that they will also be playing lots of those too. In addition to covers, which they do a tremendous job doing, they will have some new music to play.
New Music From Zac Brown
Zac Brown is releasing a new song Pirates & Parrots, this Friday, for his friend Jimmy Buffett that passed last year. He performed the song for the first time in L.A. for the Jimmy Buffett tribute concert with his friend Mac McAnally.
He also will be singing his new single “Tie Up” which was released a few weeks ago. “Tie Up” is inspired by Zac’s favorite place to “tie up” and relax in Lake Lanier, GA. Zac said that he’s not a huge boat/beach person- that’s more his brother’s thing. He is more of a farm/mountain kind of person, but having spent some time on boats on the lakes, He understands the sentiment.
